About Dawn
Dawn Caldwell De Wulf writes for both young readers and adults. For children, she writes Picking the Fruit (of the Spirit), a nine-book series of Christian picture books for children ages 2–7, published by Winged Publications. Her books have been recognized by the ACFW Kingdom KidLit Contest, The Wishing Shelf Book Awards, the WCCW Goldie Awards, and the Angel Book Awards. Books 1–5 are out now, and I Don't Like Faithfulness is the newest.
Dawn holds a master's degree in teaching from USC and works as a substitute teacher alongside her writing, so she spends real time with the kids her books are written for. She has wanted to be an author since she was seven. Her mom, who taught school for 38 years, read to her every night. The series grew out of a childhood carrot-patch mishap with her grandpa, Poppie.
Dawn lives in Oregon with her husband, Henry, and her mom. She is mom to five daughters and Grammy to six grandkids. She is represented by Dr. Sharon Norris Elliott of AuthorizeMe Literary Firm.
